Training on “The role of ORIC for Management and Improvement of Research, Innovation and Commercialization activities in line of University and HEC policies”
On 28th February 2022, Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization at NED University of Engineering and Technology conducted extensive training on “THE ROLE of ORIC for MANAGEMENT and IMPROVEMENT of RESEARCH, INNOVATION and COMMERCIALIZATION ACTIVITIES in line of UNIVERSITY and HEC POLICIES”. The training was attended by nominated faculty members (Departmental ORIC representatives) of all departments at NEDUET.
The details of sub-topics of the training were

2) Writing Research Grants: National and International: Practices and Experiences
3) Startup management and Incubation
4) Filing Patents and IP Policy in accordance
The trainers were Dr. Riaz Uddin (Director ORIC), Dr. Faizan Raza (Manager R & D), Dr. Ashar Ahmed (Manager IP & Legal Services) & Dr. Sundus Ali (Manager Business Incubation Center) at NED University of Engineering and Technology.
