As part of its initiative to strengthen research publication standards across Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission HEC Pakistan the Capacity Building Workshop on HEC’s Journal Recognition on 10th April 2025 at Mechanical AV Hall, NEDUniversity of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan.
The event was hosted by Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, NEDUET, bringing together editorial team members from various research journals. The workshop featured engaging sessions led by distinguished experts Dr. Muhammad Imtiaz Subhani (Editor & Ambassador of DOAJ, Ambassador of Crossref, Director of FORCE11 & Professor/ Director ORIC of ILMA University) and Ms. Amber Osman (Editor & Ambassador of DOAJ, Ambassador of Crossref & Member of COPE) in scholarly publishing and international standards. The event received excellent feedback from participants, highlighting the value and relevance of the training.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Noman Ahmed, whose presence added great encouragement to the event.
