Prof. Dr. Sarosh Lodi, Former Honorable Vice Chancellor NED University, inaugurated the most awaited Intellectual Property Wall (IP Wall) of NED University. The status and details of NED University's 𝟓𝟎 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 (𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔, 𝑪𝒐𝒑𝒚𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒔 & 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒔) are compiled and presented on the IP Wall of NED University with the active contribution of Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization, NEDUET (led by Dr. Riaz Uddin under the guidance of Prof. Dr. M. Tufail).
It highlighted a Significant surge in IP filing has been recorded in the last couple of years as NED University has been actively engaged in the research and development of indigenous technologies and products to promote innovations and import substitution via Science & Technology Engineering (STE) projects. In this regard, the University has successfully developed over 𝟏𝟏𝟓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒔, 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 (𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝑷𝑲𝑹 𝟏.𝟏𝟐𝟓 𝑩𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏) through its (𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟖) national and regional level Research Centres and Labs, funded by national and international grants, including those from HEC, Industries, and other funding organizations.
